These terms are the agreement between you and JDM Welzijn, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands ("FroMe", "we", "us") for use of the FroMe app. By using the app you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
You must be 13 or over, and if you are under 16 your parent or guardian must agree before you use FroMe. If you photograph anyone else with the app — including your own child — you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that they have agreed. Photographing someone else's face without that authority is a breach of these terms and of their privacy.
You need an account to save looks and to use try-on. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Try-on works on a photograph of your face, which is processed as set out in the Privacy Policy and only with your explicit agreement. You keep ownership of your photographs and of the try-on images produced from them. You grant us only the permission we need to create, store and show you those images — nothing wider, and nothing that survives your deletion of them.
Try-ons are generated by an AI model. They are an approximation for fun and inspiration — not a prediction, a promise, or professional advice about what a stylist can achieve on your hair. Results vary with lighting, angle and hair texture, and the model sometimes gets things wrong. Please use your judgement, and talk to a stylist before making decisions you cannot easily undo.
FroMe includes a limited number of free try-ons. Beyond that, try-on requires a FroMe Pro subscription.
We may change prices or what Pro includes. Changes apply from your next renewal, and we will tell you before they take effect.
Do not: upload photographs of people who have not agreed and for whom you are not the parent or guardian; use the app to impersonate anyone, or to create misleading images of a real person; upload unlawful, hateful or sexual content; attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service; or resell access to it.
You are responsible for what you do with images the app produces. Sharing a try-on of another person without their agreement is not something the app can prevent, and is not something we permit.
The app, its designs, its hairstyle catalogue and its software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them within the app; you may not copy, redistribute or build on them otherwise.
We aim to keep FroMe running but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features can change or be withdrawn. Try-on depends on third-party AI services that may be slow or unavailable, in which case a try-on can fail; where a try-on fails, any allowance it consumed is returned to you.
You can stop using FroMe and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — in particular the rules about photographing other people — where possible with notice, and immediately where the breach is serious.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or data, or for decisions you make on the strength of a try-on image; and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your country gives you, and nothing here affects them.
We will post updated terms here with a new date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use FroMe after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and the courts of Amsterdam have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the country where you live.
